About Us

Dilano’s Risotto Pasta Bar - a modern upmarket take on Italian cuisine, specialising in risotto and pasta. Chef/ Owner, Johnny Raslan, has worked in the industry for 40 years, spending 13 years at Amalfi’s between the 80s and 90s, has been the Executive Chef at numerous high-end overseas restaurants and has cooked for many celebrities.

Johnny’s dream has been to open up his own restaurant and now the time has come. Along with the cosy, relaxed atmosphere and welcoming team, the use of the freshest and finest ingredients will have you coming back for more.

The story behind the name: In honour of Johnny’s late sister Yvonne, his son Dylan J, was named after her favourite movie character. Her wish for a son was unfortunately never realised as she was unable to conceive in her marriage. The restaurant’s name ‘Dilano’s’ and the use of purple, Yvonne’s favourite colour, in its décor carries on her legacy.
